Gathering.

My husband Morgan and I had the pleasure of helping our good friends Stewart & Lyndsy Leslie gather their yearling heifers to bring home for the winter. Despite my frozen fingers, I was able to capture a little part of the day! Fog or shine, the Chesaw Highlands are always a beautiful sight.

Watching Stewart & Lyndsy work together is sure to put you in a good mood! They could be doing the most boring or frustrating task and still find a way to make it fun and joke around! So anytime I can tag along, I always say yes!

Lyndsy decided to mount her YP Quarter Horse stud Peppy "RTR Doc Peppy San", for the gather.

Of course, Stewart was riding a YP Quarter Horse as well! Roy "YP Shifty Drifter", by Peppy, worked along side his dad to help gather the YP cattle! How cool is that!

Watching the cattle barrel down hill is always a fun sight to see. Full of pep and a little hesitation... they made it into the corrals.

From there they were loaded up and headed home for the winter to get fat & happy in the Chesaw snow!
