A little bit about me!
9 times out of 10 I'll be in jeans and a hoodie, cuddling a dog or riding a pony. I will probably have dirt on my face, hay in my hair and a bad joke coming. Just trying my best to make you laugh!
I love old school country music, I'm talking Marty Robbins and Chris Ledoux. Early mornings are my favorite, on the porch with a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket but don't try to find me after 8pm, I'm probably in bed. Ha! I am actually a pretty shy person but I also LOVE meeting new people and learning more about them, a weird combo, I know. I married an all around cowboy, Morgan and we are doing our best to make every day the best day ever.
Why I do it.
I have always loved looking through old family photos. And not just my own. Whenever I get the chance to look at other peoples pictures and hear the stories that go along with them, I am sucked in and hours could pass without noticing. I think it is important to have those memories, for us as we age and for the next generation that so eagerly want to know what it was like “back then.” I love all the new people I get to meet doing my job and having the opportunity to create their next family heirloom.
How it started.
I really feel like photography found me. I didn’t set out to be a business owner originally. I just took my camera every where I went, especially riding. A couple saw some of my art and asked if I could take their engagement photos. Really having no idea what I was doing, I went for it. I thought it was awesome and slowly had a few more people contact me. It wasn’t until a few years later that it clicked, I could do this to make a living! It has been a crazy adventure with so many learning curves and lessons, but I am truly blessed to have one of the happiest jobs on the planet! I mean, I take, edit, and post pictures of people with big ol’ smiles on their faces… I catch myself feeling all bubbly and happy just working on them!
